About Our Firm

Welcome to Ezer Legal Solutions! I want to congratulate you for making it here and taking the first step toward planning for everyone and everything you love. My name is Savaun Perry, and I am a wife, mother of four boys, lawyer, and the managing attorney of Ezer Legal Solutions. I became an attorney because I wanted to serve my community and truly make a difference in the lives of others.

I earned my Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice in December of 2009 and my Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University in May of 2010. I was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2010. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in African American Studies and Criminal Justice and Criminology, with a certificate in Child Advocacy from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2005.

I have over eleven years of legal experience working in academia, serving families in private practice, and as a former employee of the Social Security Administration working at both the hearing level and with the Appeals Council. I decided to build this practice after witnessing the challenges many people face when trying to manage their Social Security disability claims.

Further, I recognized the importance of serving my community with estate planning solutions that not only protect tangible assets, but also preserve family legacies and sustain harmonious familial relationships. I am a part of a large blended family. I understand the delicate nature of family relationships and the importance of sustaining culture and capturing memories, while transferring values from generation to generation. A failure to complete a comprehensive estate plan can tear families apart while costing a grieving family precious time and expensive legal bills.

My maternal grandmother, Pearl, was born in Trinidad and Tobago, home of delicious food, the steel pan, and of course carnival. She immigrated to the United States and earned her Bachelor’s degree in her 50s after raising 12 children with my grandfather John. My paternal grandmother, Jewel, was born in Lovejoy, Illinois, a historic town founded by formerly enslaved people pursuing freedom. She worked as a nurse practitioner for 50 years while raising her eight children. Lastly, my third grandmother Emma, was born in Liberia, West Africa, a country founded by formerly enslaved people determined to return to Africa to build community. These three women, along with my mother, have shaped my life and contributed to the woman I am today. In addition, the values they shared motivate me to help you preserve your family wealth and navigate complicated legal systems.

I am ready to provide compassionate, competent and comprehensive legal solutions for your entire family. My services include family protection, wealth preservation, guardianship appointments, and value-centered planning, as well as planning strategies for young families, second marriages, high net worth clients and those in hospice care. I will serve you whether you are married or single, a member of a traditional family or blended one, and I am prepared to help you every step of the way. I will guide you through the confusing maze of financial and legal decisions and customize a plan that supports the well-being of your family and achieves your goals for your loved ones today and for many years to come.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve my community by empowering families through educational resources and legacy preservation strategies. I am fortunate that as your attorney, I can provide zealous representation with knowledge of Social Security Law and Estate planning best practices.
